Support Athletes like Jess

Before 2021, Jess played collegiate softball, ran marathons and raced triathlons. A neurological condition has made her a full-time wheelchair user since then, and she now coaches pickleball at the Eugene Family YMCA while competing in adaptive surfing, paratriathlon and wheelchair tennis. She has been competing in her everyday chair, which is not eligible for official competition. This Top End Tennis chair changes that and allows her to perform to her fullest potential while giving back to her community, coaching adaptive sports at her YMCA.

Why it matters

Receiving my racing chair has truly changed my life. Since getting it, I have made incredible progress, accomplishments that I once was not sure would ever be possible again. More than the race results, this chair has given me my freedom back. It has reconnected me with friends, allowed me to race again, and helped me rediscover a part of myself that I thought I had lost. For the first time since my accident, I am finally starting to feel like my old self again.
