Become a Corporate Sponsor
AdaptX is a 501(c)3 charitable organization that improves the health and fitness of individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities through opportunity, education, advocacy, and research. We are seeking corporate sponsors for 2024 and have built out seven marketing channels that can benefit your organization. Whether you consider your $5000 contribution a donation or a marketing expense for tax purposes will depend on the size and structure of your organization.
1. Our AdaptX curriculum is an online educational course that has been taught to universities around the country and hundreds of health and fitness professionals around the world. We will include an acknowledgement of the companies who support our organization at the beginning and conclusion of the course.
2. We will include our corporate sponsor logos on the home page of www.adaptx.org
3. This Spring, we will be running the Boston Marathon as one of the 12 wheelchair duos after qualifying for the race with a 2:55:10 marathon. We will be printing new wheel covers for our racing chair with the logos of our corporate sponsors. We will use these wheel covers for the next three years which will likely see us traveling and competing in dozens of races. Jacob and I have completed 88 together, winning 5Ks and 10Ks around New England
4. We have released the first two episodes of our 2024 Boston Marathon YouTube series where we will share insights into training and our initiatives to make endurance sports accessible. We’ll promote our corporate sponsors in each of these videos.
7. Lastly, each year we host the Unified 5k and AdaptXpo, a road race and inclusive fitness conference. Your sponsorship will place your logo at the top of our 5k shirts and in all of the promotional material for the conference.
Our mission is to increase the healthspan of thousands of individuals with disabilities, create training environments around the world where individuals with and without disabilities coexist, and make endurance sports accessible. Your support will allow us to do so.
5. Every Monday we release an episode of the AdaptX Podcast. So far we have released 20 episodes that have been downloaded more than 1000 times. We will acknowledge our sponsors and share whatever ad read you would like us to at the beginning of each episode. We will release 50+ episodes in 2024 and hopefully reach an exponentially larger audience than we have so far.
6. Your sponsorship will also give you a donor plaque in the Rick Hoyt Research Lab at our facility here in Lancaster, MA where we conduct projects on improving performance and reducing secondary health conditions in individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities. Our lab is adjacent to a physical therapy clinic that sees dozens of patrons per week and a strength and conditioning facility that has hundreds of members.
