Dibya Pridipta
Dibya Pradipta is an educator, coach, adult ADHD, mental health advocate, and a lifelong learner. He studied Veterinary Medicine, and has a Masters Degree in Social Psychology. His passion in teaching started when he was learning and coaching Judo - a martial arts that teach effective and efficient human movements. Now he coaches strength and motor capabilities for neurodiverse populations of various ages.
Beth Terranova
Beth Terranova is a physical therapist and strength and conditioning coach with a passion for treating spinal conditions, especially working with clients with scoliosis and after spine surgeries. Diagnosed with scoliosis as a teenager, she defied the odds to become a National Level Olympic Weightlifter. She completed her DPT from CUNY Hunter College in 2015 and became an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2018. She pursued training in the Barcelona-Schroth Method for treatment of scoliosis and kyphosis and became Advanced Certified in 2019.
Amanda Kloo, PhD
Dr. Amanda Kloo, PhD is an educator, a mom, a wife, and a life-long student. She is a veteran teacher, interventionist, and developmental specialist with experience teaching individuals who have a wide range of abilities. She is the Director of Inclusive Recreation Standards and Accreditation at the National Inclusion Project, a non-profit providing community organizations, recreational programs, and schools the training, tools, and support needed to meaningfully include children with disabilities in all activities.
Lisa Drennan
Lisa has a 36-year career supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be active and engaged within their community. At New England Village in Pembroke, MA, she gained experience in working as a Direct Support Worker and eventually as Director of The Sollar Wellness Center specifically designed for this population.
Kyle Robidoux
Kyle has completed over 25 marathons and ultramarathons, including five Boston Marathons and three 100-mile races. In the summer of 2018, Kyle, with the support of his sighted guides, completed the grueling six-day, 120-mile Transrockies Run, which includes over 23,000 feet of elevation gain.
Lauren Hansen
Lauren is the Senior Clinical Exercise Physiologist at the Cerebral Palsy Alliance, where she has worked for the past 9 years. She enjoys working within an accessible gym and hydrotherapy pool to provide services to clients. She understands that it can be difficult to just ‘go to a gym’ for many people with disabilities, and therefore she helps clients to access appropriate exercises to keep them fit and healthy and participate fully in their community.
Brian Skotko, PhD
A Board-certified medical geneticist, Dr. Skotko is the Emma Campbell Endowed Chair on Down Syndrome at Massachusetts General Hospital. As the Director of the hospital’s Down Syndrome Program, he has dedicated his professional energies toward children with cognitive and development disabilities. He co-authored the national award-winning books, Common Threads: Celebrating Life with Down Syndrome and Fasten Your Seatbelt: A Crash Course on Down Syndrome for Brothers and Sisters.
Adam Bleakney
Adam is the wheelchair track coach at the University of Illinois, which has been named as a national training center for the Paralympic team. He coaches some of the best athletes in the world including Tatyana McFadden and Daniel Romanchuk. He has helped development curriculum for USATF, wounded veterans, and the UK Athletics Wheelchair track program. He has been involved in several research projects on the design of racing gloves and training equipment.
Ian Gray
Ian Gray is a BOC-certified prosthetist in Newton, Massachusetts. Inspired by his mother, who is an above-knee amputee, Ian entered the profession and has since gained over ten years of experience. He was named Northeast Regional Director for AmpSurf in 2012 and became a board-certified prosthetist in July 2013. Ian is also involved with adaptive snowboarding programs.
Chris Joyce
Chris Joyce, PT, DPT, PhD, and assistant professor at MCPHS in the school of Physical Therapy. He has his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northeastern University and PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences from the MGH Institute of Health Professions.
Brett Horchar
After a 2018 diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis, Brett became the 2021 Crossfit Games Fittest on Earth in the Neurological division. With the title, Brett continues to train and keep his body up to competition level, while being a resource for the adaptive community in hopes to help anyone and everyone who is trying to find out how to get started on their own fitness journey.
