What Advocates Do

Five Actions That Build to a Capstone Project

Advocates are partners in the mission. Each action below is a way in. Over the year they add up to one project that is yours.

  1. 01

    Grow Programs Locally

Help start adaptive fitness programs, or bring duo running demo days, Next Stride clinics and Unified 5Ks to your community.

  2. 02

    Bring AdaptX Education to Gyms

Open the door for AdaptX education at your gym, YMCA, clinic or university.

  3. 03

    Develop Creative Fundraising Ideas

Run fundraisers that engage people a Unified 5K may not.

  4. 04

    Represent AdaptX in Races

Wear the mission at major events. Advocates get first access to our charity bibs.

  5. 05

    Tackle Ambitious Goals

Take on a challenge big enough to tell a story.

  6. Goal

    Your Capstone Project

One event or initiative you build across the year, with AdaptX behind you.

The Capstone Project

One Project. A Full Year of Support.

An event or initiative aligned with the AdaptX mission that you work on throughout the year, with mentorship and support from AdaptX staff and resources.

We will shape the goal together so it fits your community and your calendar.

Run a Fundraiser

  • Milestone campaigns
  • Mileage pledges
  • Gym and corporate challenges
  • Business matches
  • Community events
  • Fund one blade, chair or clinic

Bring a Program Home

  • Duo Running Demo Day
  • Next Stride Clinic
  • Unified 5K

Chase a Big Goal

Big goals tell a story. Stories raise money and change minds.
