About AdaptX

Mission, Vision and Values

What we are for, where we are going, and how we work.

Our Mission

To address barriers to fitness and sport for individuals with disabilities through education, research, events, and grant funding.

  • Education
  • Research
  • Events
  • Grant Funding

Our Vision

A future in which inclusive fitness is the standard, not the exception.

A world where people with disabilities have equal access to fitness, movement, and opportunities to live healthier, happier lives.

Our Values

How We Operate

  • 01

Designed For and By a Diverse Team

Built by coaches, clinicians, researchers and athletes with disabilities.

  • 02

Cost Should Not Decide Who Competes

Equipment is the barrier named most often and funded least often. So we fund it.

  • 03

    Compounding Creates Impact

The more coaches we educate and events we host, the more athletes with disabilities will benefit.

  • 04

    Clinic to Community

Rehabilitation ends and too often nothing follows it. We build the route from a clinical setting to a gym, a run club, a start line.

  • 05

    Support Beyond the Grant

Equipment is only the beginning. Races to enter and coaches trained to support you turn equipment into opportunity.

Where We Are Going

Objectives and Outcomes

  • Become the world's leading provider of education on inclusion and adaptive fitness.

More than a dozen courses, continuing education credit through NASM, NSCA and ACE, and a curriculum built by more than thirty educators.

  • Grant one million dollars in adaptive equipment by 2030.

Running blades, racing wheelchairs, sports chairs, mono skis and more, granted to the athletes who need them.
